Det blev 8 timmars konferens dagen innan själva Photoshop World börjar. Det var inte helt lätt att hålla sig vaken på kvällen men det var bra och intressanta seminarier. Mycket tack vare föredragshållarna.

Kommentar: Laurie gjorde ett väldigt bra seminarium på ett ämne som skulle kunna vara väldigt tråkigt. Laurie exemplifierade väldigt mycket med egna bilder och det gav en väldigt bra förståelse för val av inställningar och val av utrusning. Skall försöka samla ihop anteckningarna senare och skriva en artikel om de.

Kommentar: Man slutar aldrig att förvånas över hur inspirerande amrikanare kan vara på scen. Clay är "förmodligen" en förträflig fotograf i varje fall om man får tro honom själv. Men det var fantasktiskt att se honom att fotografera grupper om 2, 3, 4, 5 och sedan alla deltagare (ca 300). Han höll ett högt tempo och visade under 4 timmar hur man lyckas med porträtt och grupp fotografering. Till sin hjälp hade han Jane som tyvärr kom bort lite för hon har förmodligen ännu mer kunskap att dela med sig än Clay. Men Clay var den stora stjänrnan. Jane visade mycket retusch och hur man använder Painter för att bearbeta fotografiet. Detta var deras första utav 22 seminarier som de ska hålla runt om i USA.
